DVD to Vivitar Camelio - Convert DVD for playback with Vivitar Camelio

Summary: Tricks for watching DVD movies on Vivitar Camelio, and how to rip and convert DVD to Vivitar Camelio playable video formats.

The question comes up with the release of Vivitar's kid-friendly Camelio tablet: how to watch DVD movies on Vivitar Cameliot? Well, since the Android based tablet doesn't have a DVD-ROM that can play DVD movies, you may have to find another way to get the work done. If you haven't got a way to make it, you can follow this simple guide to rip DVD movies to Vivitar Camelio compatible videos. It's much easier than you may think and only comes with some help from a third-party software. But it can be done.

First, free download and install Pavtube DVD Ripper: Get the Windows Version here, and the Mac Version here:

http://www.blu-ray-dvd-converter.com/dvd_ripper/

Frankly, the program is very easy to use for editing and conversion. I've had success using it to convert DVDs to Vivitar Camelio playable format and I've found the quality to be excellent, and see no difference when compared to playing the discs themselves. With it, you can not only rip video from DVD for Vivitar Camelio, but also other portable media players like iPhone, iPad, iPod, HTC, Samsung, PS Vita, Windows tablet/Phone, Xbox 360, etc. Just get it and follow the tutorial below to transfer and put DVD movies onto Vivitar Camelio.

Big Sale - Money Saving Software Bundles - Saving Up to $35 - Pavtube Studio

http://www.pavtube.com/special-offer.html

Guide: How to Convert DVD to MP4 videos for Vivitar Camelio

Note: The quick start guide below uses DVD Ripper for Windows screenshots. The way to transfer DVD to Vivitar Camelio in Mac (Lion and Mountain Lion) is the same. Just make sure you've downloaded the right version.

Step 1: Load DVD

Run the DVD to Vivitar Camelio Converter, then click "Load DVD" icon to add the DVD files you want to play on your Surface Pro from DVD disc, DVD folder, ISO or IFO. As you can see, loaded files can be previewed in the right preview window and you can take snapshots of your favorite movie scenes.

Tips: You can click "Edit" to customize your videos by cropping, rotating, adding watermarks, adjusting video effects or trim to get the very part you want. For ripping DVD with subtitles, you can click "Subtitles" bar to choose your wanted subtitles.

Step 2: Choose output format

Click "Format" bar, you can get optimized videos for your Vivitar Camelio under "Android > Amazon Kindle Fire H.264(*.mp4)". The preset is specially designed for Kindle Fire but the output videos could fit on Camelio perfectly.

Tips: If you like, you can click "Settings" to change the video encoder, resolution, frame rate, etc. as you wish. Remember the file size and video quality is based more on bitrate than resolution which means itrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss.

Step 3: Start DVD to Vivitar Camelio conversion

After all the above settings, simply click "Convert" button to start converting DVD to Vivitar Camelio MP4 video.

After the conversion, click "Open" to find the result videos and transfer them to your Vivitar Camelio.

P.S. If you're going to transfer Blu-ray/DVD movies and HD videos to your Android or iOS or Window RT/8 based device for playback, you can get Pavtube Blu-ray Video Converter Ultimate to encode movies to play on your device smoothly.

http://www.pavtube.com/blu-ray-video-converter-ultimate/

Buy One Get Another Free? Yes, just join Pavtube's Special Offer to get the promotion.

If you have any problem, pls contact with macsupport@pavtube.com to get more information. You also can leave a message on Pavtube Community or Facebook, we will answer your questions as soon as possilble.

 CALL FOR ENTRIES!
CASTING CALL: Sculpture Wanted!!!
The Crucible’s Cathedral Gallery is looking for artists to participate in their upcoming juried group exhibit ‘Cast’. The sculpture technique of casting has been around since 6000 BC and is used with a vast array of materials. Historically casting has been traditionally associated as a manufacturing process for metal, but casting has also been widely used with glass, concrete, plaster, plastic resin and lesser imaginable say ‘alternative’ materials (thanks to those artists of the world…). ‘Cast’ will highlight Bay Area artists varied explorations in art utilizing the casting processes. The exhibit will be held March 18th through May 7th at the Crucible’s Cathedral Gallery located at 1603 Broadway in Downtown Oakland.

INSTRUCTIONS TO SUBMIT:

1. Complete “Call for Entries” form. This form can also be found at http://thecrucible.org/gallery

2. There is a limit of 5 submissions per artist. Prepare images as specified below:

o Submit ONE FULL view image and ONE DETAIL image of the each submission.
o The images MUST meet the following specifications: Files should be named as such = artist's last name followed by the entry number as noted on the entry form (i.e. Jones1.jpg, Jones1detail.jpg, Jones2.jpg, Jones2detail.jpg, etc.).
o The image files should be in HIGH QUALITY JPEG format (images should be no smaller than 1115 X 1440 pixels and 72dpi which most digital cameras can do).
o Images MUST be oriented properly.

3. E-mail the “Call for Entries” and Submission Images to: gallery@thecrucible.org

(We prefer E-mail in our effort of being eco-conscious. If E-mail is not an option, submissions may also be mailed or dropped off to: The Crucible c/o Daniel Stauber, 1260 7th Street, Oakland, California 94607 during business hours Monday-Thursday 10-6, Friday 10-2)

4. Deadline for Entries is March 5, 2010. No late submissions will be accepted after this date. Notifications of acceptance will be March 9, 2010. Art drop-off will begin March 12, 2010. Exhibit Opening is March 18, 2010 corresponding with Oakland’s monthly art event Third Thursdays.

I have been publishing a literary 'zine called Toylit (sometimes in a restroom near you... don't worry, you can read it, just use Purell afterwards) since 2001. Over the years, production has been stymied by several factors: 1) I didn't want to risk my rights, so I never put my best writing in there. 2) I am not computer-savvy and it was difficult for me to maintain a website. I was wary of using blogs, because I thought there would be a gray zone as to who owned my writing. I wanted my own domain and that was too much work for what I envisioned. 3) Because I am not computer-savvy, it was difficult for me to figure out how to promote my zine. While I was busy trying to re-invent the wheel, newsfeed readers were busy picking up blogs. I promoted my blog with paper distribution and the tools available to me for tracking web traffic were--honestly--crappy. I felt like Sisyphus.

Recently, I decided I would write a single News Poem a day and post it on my blog. At first, I held back with my writing, because I didn't want it ripped-off. One day, I wrote something inspired and I realized, "I need to do something to protect this from bots and content thieves," so I decided I would publish my zine daily. Using Lulu, I am able to publish Today's News Poem, without worrying if someone is going to steal it. I have an ISBN #. That gives me some serious power over my online writing. And since I believe my writing bests the writing on most blogs, I feel this gives me a serious alternative to just crossing my fingers and posting my writing online. Well, I still see my pen name and articles up on web sites I've never heard before and I don't think I have much recourse against them. But by publishing and selling my 'zine, I can prove damages. By using Google, I can track the preferences of my readers and truly bring the online interactive experience, to the page with lulu.

In short, every 'zine maker should be doing this. It will legitimize the content, by giving you an ISBN number and dodging the fate of so many out-of-print-yet-crucial zines. The web provides a unique opportunity for the literary writer to perform before an audience--something s/he has not really had the chance to do before.

If you want to read more about this, read my site http://toylit.blogspot.com and let me know what you think--either here, or there.

ps: coming to a restroom near spew.

Some of the kits I’ve seen appear to operate over existing house wiring but each room in my house is on its own circuit so I don’t think that type will work without extensive rewiring.
