Hello everyone, I recently posted about using cylinder plunger system to pump air, decided against it and to go with an air pump.

What i need is a DC air pump. preferably on the small size. basically something i can control with my computer. the only one I can seem to find online is model HZ-035A from age of aquariums... does anyone know a better air pump? or a cheaper one? I would really appreciate it.

The other thing is i am going to control the flow with the airpump either in or out of a canister. My friend suggested a 5 port solenoid valve, however there seem to be hundreds of kinds and Im not sure what i need.

bassically i need two positions, the airpump will connect its input to one and output to another port, and in one position the input will be connected to atmosphere and the output connected to the canister, and for draining the input will be connected to the canister and the output to atmosphere.

can anyone help me in finding a suitable solenoid? or perhaps another way of doing this? I am no engineer so I am having a few problems getting my head around all the diagrams.
