Makers and Making: gluing metal?

I am looking for an easy way to connect metal with glue, preferably without solder\welding.

Any suggestions? does steel reinforced epoxy work well?

I've used Cyanoacrylate (Super) glue to hold aluminum together.
I've also used 2-part "5 minute" epoxy and it works great also.

I roughen up the surfaces when using the epoxy.
Smooth surfaces seems to work fine with super glue.
