I am making my gifts this year, since I have had zero income since February. I received a make subscription as a gift. I also received gift tag stickers from some organization looking for donations (aka Junk Mail). Since most of my gifts are Amigurumi, they are near impossible to wrap, and I don't want to put a sticker directly on them, I am using the subscription cards from Make and the gift tag stickers to make a gift tag. I will use a hole punch to use yarn scraps to attach the gift tag to the amigurumi.
That's really creative - now I cannot mess with that, I was buying my wife a Patek Philippe http://www.chrono24.com/en/patekphilippe/index.htm becuase I know she loves them. But maybe I will steal your idea and also put some gift tag stickers on my present! ;)
