Makers and Making: Great science series removed...

I had recently found the best science series I had ever seen on Youtube.

For those of us over 40, 'The Mechanical Universe and Beyond' was the best introduction to Physics concepts I had ever seen. Because I am a visual learner, it helped me understand Magnetism, Resonance, Differential and Integral Calculus, the list goes on and on.

I had just recommended several episodes on Electricity and Electrical Circuits to a 12 year old kid I know who is a whiz at these things, but needs some deeper understanding of the subject. Unfortunately, today it has been scrubbed from Youtube due to copyright issues.

I would have expected that this series would be in the public domain by now, I hope it comes back in some reasonable to watch form online again.

Does anyone have suggestions about similar series that is available online?

There are 52 episodes of The Mechanical Universe and Beyond available on TPB site, if you don't mind torrents.

The series is available on DVD for $37 but I'm assuming it's a bootleg copy.

It's also available as download or on DVD from learner.org but the price would scare you.

I had not heard of this series - it looks pretty good.
